Samantha is passionate about all things Saint Lucian who is particularly interested the preserving the traditional floral festivals – The La Woz and La Magwit. She is accredited with staging the first La Woz celebration in the UK. 
She works as a senior development coordinator for an organisation providing supported housing for adults with enduring mental health issues.

She has over 20 years’ experience in working with homeless and vulnerable adults, covering all aspects of vulnerability and housing concerns, including commissioning homeless services for a London local authority.
She also volunteers for a Youth Offending Service managing Referral Orders for young people first entrance into the criminal justice system.

In her spare time, you would find her making a variety of sumptuous jams or trying out some new recipes. One thing she looks forward to is for Friends of Saint Lucia to grow to at least 20 Clubs within London so we can organise some of the biggest Saint Lucia Traditional Cultural Festivals outside of Saint Lucia.
She lives in SE London with her family.
