Social Partnerships

Importance of Social Partnerships

We believe that social partnerships are a powerful mechanism for success and advancing socio-economic development. It is the idea of collaboration with other organisations with mutually shared aspiration.  We believe that businesses, existing nonprofits and governments agencies  can work together to drive positive social changes. We have developed a broad base Voluntary Service Framework as a  deliberate strategy to potentially attract a wider group of partners.

As with the growing evidence that consumers are gravitating towards products and services that are tied to a social cause, we hope we would attract partners whose corporate social responsibility would find a friend in our vision of service to Saint Lucia.

Our main projects

Social Partnerships comes in many shapes and forms, but they are one of the most important relationships to enable our vision. With our main programs such as apprenticeships training, we hope to establish some long-term relationship the world over.

Corporate Angels Program

In our efforts to align ourselves with companies that share our values, we recognize that there are many ways in which they can support us. Besides financial support, we created this program whereby companies with the capacity may donate the expertise of their staff to us from time to time, ranging from a few hours a month until a project is completed. This we hope would interest companies where staff members are also interested in working with us.

Our Plan

We plan to work with a wide cross-section of businesses whom we believe their staff members possess a certain skill set or expertise that they can work alongside with to achieve specific targets.

Apprenticeships Training Program

Apprenticeship training opportunities we believe will be  an important aspect of this theme of our voluntary service framework. Such programs will afford useful  initial job experience to our young people. This  we believe is an important strategy to upskilling the labour capital market and increasing aspirations and widening participation. Building effective partnerships will be crucial in achieving this goal.

Our Plan

We plan to work with key stakeholders to develop an appropriate apprenticeship training framework which will include a study component of related internationally recognised qualification.
