Meet Bertram O. Leon, OBE
Trustee
About Bertram
Bertram has a long history in community engagement and has initiated many notable initiatives both in the UK and Saint Lucia.
He has held many leadership positions with wide range of community groups and associations. With close to forty years of experience in private and public sector, he now manages a consultancy in Contracts and Project Management and is also a Director of the Caribbean Diaspora Skills Directory. In 2016, he was instrumental in negotiating and securing a Mobile Blood Bank from the UK as a gift to the Ministry of Health for the people of Saint Lucia.
Bertram also comes from the Northern Town of Saint Lucia, Gros – Islet.
Notably, he was Honoured for his contribution to the service of communities both here and in Saint Lucia by the Queens New Year’s Day List 2020.
In his spare time, he enjoys painting and has exhibited his work in local galleries.
He lives in Surrey with his family.
