We believe that as a developing country, the virtue of having a single Voluntary Service Organisation Brand may augur well for the mobilisation of support from people the world over. Therefore, this Friendship category is a bold appeal to all existing organized Saint Lucian Associations in the Diaspora that share the vision of a united service to Saint Lucia. Where this may sound daring, but we urge you to think of the bigger picture. There are already a lot of such organisations out there but we are fragmented. Therefore, the efforts of serving can be potentially  minimised.  

The causes that you currently support would remain the same. It will be an easy transition to becoming a Friend of Saint Lucia, which you are already.  You will agree that coming together will make us stronger. We will have a louder voice in our service to Saint Lucia. We have waited too long to join hands in Unity. Together we can. Let’s do this! It’s about time!
