What We Do
Our Voluntary Service Framework
Rationale
What we do is guided by our Voluntary Service Framework (VSF). This was inspired by the results of an analysis of existing Saint Lucian Charities agendas which appears limited in scope, or at least not defined. Given the multiplicity of social needs to serve, we wanted to create an organisation where people would be able to find a cause or project to support or presented with the opportunity to create one.
We agreed that people could assume that if we were a singled-focused Charity or example Diabetes, that they would choice to support another organisation with a cause closer to their hearts.
By developing a framework of common needs, we have made it easier for people to find a cause or project and work with us. We hope now that Clubs and Branches can now explore the VSF and decide to focus their efforts at any given theme in service to Saint Lucia.
